Why Shin Guard Tape is a Good Idea

Many players a variety of solutions to keep their socks and shin guards in place.  Some use old laces, some use velcro straps, and some just use their garter belt to keep their socks up.  However, the most reliable solution to keeping your gear in place and your socks up as they should be is a roll of Shin guard tape.

Your shin guards a very important piece of equipment that can protect you from falling, as well as the normal impact that can occur from sticks, or even blocking a shot.  If that guard were to become dislodged, or shift even an inch to the side, you would be exposed to a potentially extremely painful injury.  That is why making sure those guards stay in place at all time is very important for players of all ages and skills.
